If you want to receive points for proficient or superior ability, you must complete an English language test. This is usually the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test. One of the most significant changes introduced recently by Australian Department of Immigration is the introduction of an additional step in processing of skilled migrants applications called the Expression of Interest (EOI). If you want to migrate to Australia as a skilled migrant and you have the skills Australia needs you may need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
