Canada's New Federal Skilled Worker Program 2014 - Are you eligible

The Canadian government has included new occupations for consideration under it Federal Skilled Worker Program. Following 50 occupations are eligible for processing currently. You must have at least one year of continuous, full-time (or an equal amount of part-time) paid work experience, in at least one of these occupations within the last ten years. Effective May 1, 2014, CIC will consider only 25,000 applications for processing. Within the 25,000 cap, only 1,000 applications per eligible occupation will be considered for processing within this same time frame.
​This does not apply if the applicant possess a valid offer of arranged employment, or if they  are applying under the PhD stream.
