Breaking News - Priority Occuaption List amended
June 26, 2010, government of Canada has amended its priority occupation list for Skilled Workers reducing it to 29 occupation from 38 and eliminating professions such as Financial Managers, Computer and Information Systems Managers, Accountants, Auditors, Lecturers, Vocational Trainers, Professors, Health Managers etc. The new occupations that made their way to the list are Architects, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Primary Production Managers (Except Agriculture), Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management, Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners, Biologists and Related Scientists, Dentists, Dental Hygienists & Dental Therapists and Psychologists.
